About the Role
As an Inbound Sales Representative, you’ll be the first voice families hear when they reach out. You’ll guide them with clarity and compassion - no cold calls or pushy tactics, just meaningful conversations that help people make one of life’s most important decisions with confidence.
This is a sales role: you're responsible for helping families make confident decisions and guiding them to a close - always with genuine care, never pressure. Depending on team needs and performance, this role may include a mix of inbound sales conversations, returning lead follow-up, and support work that helps the broader sales process run smoothly.
A quick note, because many candidates wonder about it: People often assume this work is emotionally heavy, but our team consistently finds it deeply meaningful and surprisingly uplifting. The role is rooted in hospitality, clarity, and human connection, not sadness. Rather than feeling heavy, the work offers a unique sense of purpose as part of a modern, compassionate company transforming an outdated industry and bringing dignity, transparency, and warmth to families across the country.
Grow Your Career
Most teammates begin in our Second Call Representative role, a customer-facing sales position where you'll build product expertise, close deals, and develop our consultative sales approach.
High-performing Day Shift reps may become eligible to join our First Call Representative team after approximately three months. First Call Reps receive more inbound opportunities and move to an uncapped performance-based compensation plan tied directly to dollars sold, creating meaningful upside for top performers.
Eligibility for the First Call team is based on sustained performance, including strong conversion results, customer experience, workflow accuracy, and overall reliability.
